Enter button and LED —
The Enter button and LED have three primary
functions (•) and three secondary (
❏
) functions:
•
Save changes that you make on the front panel. To create a simple
confi guration:
Specify video, audio, or both (see I/O selection buttons and LEDs
[
j
] and [
k
])
Press the desired input button (
a
or
c
)
Press the desired output button(s) (
b
or
d
)
Press the Enter button.
N
Video outputs in the computer/audio subgroup (
b
) can
only
be tied to a
computer video subgroup input (
a
).
Video outputs in the low resolution video subgroup (
d
) can
only
be tied to a
low resolution video subgroup input (
c
).
When creating audio-only ties, the audio input in either video input subgroup
(
a
or
c
) can be tied to only outputs 1 through 6 in the computer video/audio
output subgroup (
b
).
When creating video
and
audio ties in the low resolution video group (from
c
to
d
), the switcher automatically breaks audio away (ties the audio input to a
different output than the video input) to an output in the computer video/audio
subgroup (
b
). This is because there are only audio outputs 1 through 6.
See
Creating a confi guration
, on page 3-8 to identify the outputs to which the
inputs are tied.
