Menu 3.1.1 - Operating settings Balance
Definition
Balance is the required ratio between the supply and extract airflows. The balance
can only be maintained within certain operating ranges, limited by factors such as:
● Duct characteristics
● Minimum fan rpm
● Minimum airflow required
● Maximum airflow required
Example of balance
The examples show a unit with manual fan control and balances of 0.80 and 1.20
respectively.

Less than 1 = less supply air - Greater than 1 = less extract air
Note for methods 3,
4, 7 and 8
Balance is not active for air regulation methods 3, 4, 7 and 8.
