Description
Password Encryption
Encrypts the administrator password.
The printer will restart to apply the
setting.
Caution:
Do not turn the power off
while the printer is restarting or you
may damage your data and lose any
printer settings you have selected.
You will need to set the password
again.

to
back up the encryption key.
Audit Log

Deletes all information from the
optional SSD unit
Secure (Quick)
: Overwrites the
entire hard disk with a random
character pattern. However, it is
possible that data could be recovered
using a dedicated data recovery tool.
Secure (Sanitizing)
: Overwrites data
on the hard disk with random 00/FF
data, and then checks it using an
algorithm based on the U.S
Department of Defense standard
(DoD5220-22m). Select this option
when you need to erase confidential
data.
