3.2 Entering CE Mode
1) Power off the printer.
2) Power on the printer while pressing "
S
" and "
T
" keys.
3) Release the fingers from these keys when the "CE Mode" and "Password" is displayed.
4) Press "
T
" key twice and press "OK" key.
5) The "CE Mode" and "ESS Diag" are displayed. (Entered the Diag. mode.)
3.3 Selecting Diag Item
The Diag setting menu can be operated via the control panel keys.
Select the menu item with the arrow keys, and press "OK" key to execute the operation.
3.4 Changing Parameter Values
To change the parameter setting, select the currently set value and press "OK" key. Select a numeric
value using "
T
" and "
S
" keys, and then press "OK" key to write the value into the NVM (Non-Volatile
Memory).
3.5 Executing/Exiting Diag Mode
To execute the Diag, use the following procedure:
1) A test item is displayed. Press "OK" key to confirm the selection.
2) The display prompts the user to start the test. Press "OK" key to start the test.
To exit the Diag, use the following procedure:
1) During the Diag test, press the "STOP" key.
2) The Diag is stopped, and the display moves to a menu one level higher.
