COVER SIDE L

As the FUSER UNIT remains at hazardous temperature after turning the power off, be
careful not to burn yourself.

1.

Release the lock on the left side of the FUSER UNIT.

2.

Remove the three screws (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) that secure the COVER SIDE L to the main unit.

3.

Pull the COVER SIDE L so that it comes free from the two protrusions of the main unit.

4.

Release the two tabs on the back side and the two tabs on the front side of the COVER SIDE L, and

remove the COVER SIDE L from the main unit.

LEVER RELEASE

1.

Release the tab on the SHAFT PIVOT that secures the LINK L to the COVER ASSY FRONT, pull
out the SHAFT PIVOT, and remove the LINK L from the COVER ASSY FRONT.

2.

Remove the three screws (silver, self-tapping, 8 mm) that secure the SUPPORT LINK L to the main unit.

3.

Remove the SUPPORT LINK L from the main unit.
