PLATE ASSY BTM A4
1. Remove the screw (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) that secures the PLATE GEAR LOCK 550 on the
right side to the CASSETTE ASSY 550 OPT, release the two tabs with a mini screwdriver or a
similar tool, and remove the PLATE GEAR LOCK 550.
2. Remove the screw (silver, self-tapping, 10 mm) that secures the PLATE GEAR LOCK 550 on the
left side to the CASSETTE ASSY 550 OPT, release the two tabs, and remove the PLATE GEAR
LOCK 550.
Before performing reassembly, be sure to slide the ACTUATOR RELEASE PB to unlock
the lock, and press the LEVER BTM LOCK to move up the PLATE ASSY BTM A4 as far
as it will go.
3. Release the tab on the GEAR PB R to remove it from the SHAFT PB A4.

4. Remove the SHAFT PB A4 from the PLATE ASSY BTM A4, and remove the STOPPER PB and the
GEAR BTM LOCK ONEWAY.
5. Pull out the two guide pins on the PLATE ASSY BTM A4 from the tabs on the HOUSING BASE RE
550, and remove the PLATE ASSY BTM A4.
