Resolution Improvement Technology
The
1500 and the
1000 with the optional Epson
Upgrade board have
(Resolution Improvement Technology), which is
to improve print quality. By this
the dot map data extracted from the image data
is reassembled improve print data.
The main improvement of this technique is in eliminating
in diagonal lines. Also, it is
most effective when the dot map data fits the development characteristics of the printer mechanism
well. It is therefore necessary to set appropriate values in
