Appendix - How to Update Firmware

We are continuously improving the performance and adding new features. Please contact

EMSCAN

get the latest firmware and follow the steps below to upgrade the ERX+ | EHX+ firmware:

1. Connect a LAN cable provided into the LAN port of the ERX+ or EHX+ and the LAN port of a computer

running Windows 7 or later. Attach the power cable and turn the device on. The ERX+ or EHX+ LED
will blink several times and turn green. Please follow steps 1 to 4 in

ERX+ | EHX+ Quick Installation

and Checklist

LED has turned solid green go to the control panel in Windows and access network configuration.

Control Panel-> Network and Sharing Center->Change Adapter Settings-> Local Area Connection

Select the “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” and click on Properties.

Click “Use the following IP address” and enter the following information:

Click OK

Obtain the latest ERX+ or EHX+ firmware from EMSCAN. You will need to unzip this file and obtain

two firmware images.
