Startup
Multi-channel unit:
Select the component to be set in the gas
component selection menu.
Once the display settings have been checked,
press
left
to return to SETUP and open
CALIBRATION/VALIDATION to check the
calibration settings.
In CALIBRATION/VALIDATION - GASES,
enter the values for zero and span gas:
•
See gas supplier´s certificate for correct
values.
•
Values must be correctly set for results to
be accurate.
• Multi-channel units: the values for each
channel must be entered separately.

Press
left
to return to CALIBRATION/VALI-
DATION, and enter TOLERANCES .
By default the 'CalibDeviat Tolerance' check
'
option is set inactive (
Off
).
With 'CalibDeviat Tolerance' set to
On
,
the analyzer checks during calibration
whether the values set for zero and span gas
conform to the concentration of the gas cur-
rently being supplied. If the concentrations
differ more than the percentage of range en-
tered in the following lines, the calibration is
aborted.This prevents calibration from being
performed when the incorrect gas is supplied
(e.g. span gas calibration using zero gas),
which would result in an incorrectly config
-
ured unit.
