Using the volumetric flow measurement configuration panels
To view process data using the volumetric flow measurement configuration panels, click
Meter >
Setup
.
•
The Input Defs panel (see Figure 6-1) displays the current values for mass flow rate, flowing
pressure, flowing temperature, flowing density, and base density.
•
The Mass Compensation panel (see Figure 6-2) displays the current mass flow rate, both
uncompensated and compensated for pressure, and flowing pressure.
To view the current values, either enable
Auto Scan
or click
Update
.

To view process data using the core interface configuration panels, click
Meter > Core Interface
.
The General panel is shown in Figure 13-2. Parameters on the General panel are listed and defined in
Table 13-2. To view the current values, either enable

Note: The Mass Flow, Density, and Temperature panels also display communications status plus
process data for the associated process variable.
Flow Calculations
Volume Flow
Rate at Flowing
Conditions
The uncorrected volume flow rate, as calculated by the
Model 3711.
Volume Flow
Rate at Base
Conditions
The volume flow rate, as calculated by the Model 3711,
and corrected to reference temperature and pressure.
Energy Rate at
Base Conditions
Energy delivery corresponding to the volume flow rate at
base conditions.
Flow Calculation
Period
Frequency of flow calculations, in seconds.
Should always show 1. If any other
value appears, check system
operation.
Accumulation Totals
Flow Today
Total flow for the current contract period, up to the present
time.
Energy Today
Total energy delivery for the current contract period, up to
the present time.
Flow Yesterday
Total flow for the most recent complete contract period.
Energy Yesterday
Total energy delivery for the most recent complete contract
period.
