6.2 Power module

The RVSS SCR truck assembly consists of three Power Poles (see

Figure 23

). Each Power Pole has stab connections on the rear of the

unit to connect to each phase from the starter contactor, and to the

output cables running to the RVSS output terminals (see

Figure 24

TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE RVSS, DISCONNECT MV CABLES FROM THE

STARTER BEFORE PERFORMING ANY DIELECTRIC TESTING SUCH AS IR
