4.6 Sending an immediate group command
To force the Control Unit to send information for a specific group immediately:
1. Press <Enter> to display the CU4> prompt.
2. Type
sendgrp
<group> and press <Enter> (for example,
sendgrp 8213
).
group: 1 to maximum number of groups
The
sendgrp
forces an immediate transmission of data for a group. After the Control Unit
sends the data, it will go back to where it was in its scan cycle. To set the sequencer to a
specified group and update their status at the same time, use the
setseq
command
(see section 4.7).
4.7 Setting the sequencer to a specific group
Normally, the sequencer scans all subscribers during its scan cycle. It is possible to interrupt
the normal scan and set the sequencer to scan starting from a particular group number.
To position the sequencer on the specified group and update it at the same time:
1. Press <Enter> to display the CU4> prompt.
2. Type
setseq
<group> and press <Enter> (for example,
setseq 2132
).
group: 1 to maximum number of groups
