Invalid time
This message appears when the Control Unit’s real-time clock has lost its settings.
See section 6.6 to troubleshoot setup errors. Refer to Chapter 5 for battery replacement
instructions. Refer to Chapter 3 for instruction on how to set the unit’s time.
Status not recognized
This message appears when the tier entered in a tap command is incompatible or
misspelled.
See section 6.5.2 to troubleshoot tap commands. Refer to Chapter 4 for information on
how to use each command with its parameters.
Status RAM error
This message appears when the Control Unit is unable to record subscriber data in its
memory, usually due to a corrupt subscriber status table or a hardware problem with the
Control Unit’s memory.
See Chapter 5 to troubleshoot memory problems. For further assistance, contact
Electroline’s technical support department.
Tap out of range
This message appears when the tap number of a command exceeds the limit per group set
in the Control Unit (16 or 64).
See section 6.5.2 to troubleshoot tap commands. Refer to Chapter 4 for information on
how to use each command with its parameters.
Timeout encountered
This message appears when the upload command has failed, usually due to a long delay
before sending the data file.
See section 6.5.1 to troubleshoot upload problems. Refer to Chapter 5 for information on
how to upload a file.
Warning from redundancy system: this unit is now MASTER (or BACKUP)
This message appears when an error causes the master and backup units to switch roles
(toggle). You will only see this message if the redundancy failure notification system is
on, and if you are connected to the Control Unit in terminal mode. The message appears
on all ports where a terminal is connected.
See section 6.4 and its subsections to troubleshoot redundancy system problems. Refer to
Chapter 3 for information on how to set up redundancy systems.
