Replace side filter
It is a good idea to replace the side filter whenever the lamp is replaced (or more
frequently if the operating environment is very dusty). This filter lies behind the
protruding grill on the left side panel of the projector. Pull down the latch on the
underside to detach the grill from the projector as shown in Figure 4.7. Pull out
the old filter and replace with the new, taking care that the filter lies smoothly in
place. Replace grill, tabbed end first, and swing latch back up to secure.

WARNING
For safety, only use filters supplied by Electrohome.
Never operate the projector without the
filters installed.
Replace the outer lamp door
Replace the outer door by aligning the bottom edge and swinging the door up
into place. Pull the top latch of the door back down.
Power up the projector
Plug in the projector and press
to turn it on. Allow the projector to warm
up for about five minutes.
Reset the lamp timer
In the Status menu, call up the "Lamp Changed" text box and enter the new lamp
serial number (see Section 3, Operation if you need help entering text). Once the
serial number is entered, the lamp timer will automatically reset to "0" hours and
begin to log time.
WARNING
If you neglect to enter a serial number, the lamp
timer will not reset to "0" and will therefore be
inaccurate. The lamp lifetime may then
prematurely expire.
