If you use a slidebar from presentation level, you must enter changes within 5
seconds or the slidebar will disappear from the screen. Note that
returns to
the previous level whereas returns to presentation level.
CHECKBOX
-
Conditions listed next to a checkbox are present if the checkbox
contains a checkmark. Press to toggle checkmark on and off, or press
to check and to uncheck. For any menu checkbox options that are numbered,
such as the VCR option, enter the number of the option to toggle the checkbox.
Pull-down List -
Highlight and press
to pull down a list of options (or
enter the menu option number, if
present). Use the
or
keys to
navigate up and down within the list or
to scroll a large list. Highlight and press
to choose an option.
NOTE: Press or to cycle through a list without pulling it down.
To enter or edit text (such as a channel name), highlight the desired parameter
and press
to bring up an edit window. Current text is highlighted and
displayed at the top of the menu, with selectable characters for editing displayed
in a large white box, and other buttons at the bottom. Navigate between all with
the arrow keys as usual.

NOTE: Entering a character while the current text is highlighted replaces all of
the text. Make sure you want to discard the original text before beginning, or
press
to cancel at any time.
To Edit Text -
In the large character box, use the arrow keys to move from
character to character. Press on keypad to select and insert the character in
the text box at the top of the screen. The blinking vertical line indicates the
insertion point for the text. Select the on-screen
or buttons to move the
cursor left or right as necessary (highlight and press ).
