Operating method of the pump:
A low-noise stepper motor moves a metering diaphragm using
an eccentric gear.
During the suction stroke, a vacuum is generated through the
reverse motion of the diaphragm, and the metering medium is
drawn into the pump head through the suction valve.
During the pressure stroke, the diaphragm is moved forward,
creating excess pressure, and the medium is pressed into the
metering line by the pressure valve.
The delivery rate can be regulated by displaying it. A reduction
in quantity means an extension in the metering stroke
duration. The duration of the suction stroke remains
unchanged here. By selecting a different metering rate, the
suction stroke duration can also be modified for higher
viscosities or challenging suction conditions.
The pumps consist of three main assemblies:
n
Housing with driver unit
n
Pump head
n
Control unit.
The construction has been chosen in such a way that it is very easy to switch between the
‘EcoPro’
and
‘EcoAdd’
control units.
In addition, the control panels can be rotated variably on the housing.

On the supplied mounting plate, the pump can be fastened without a tool both for table-
top mounting and wall mounting.

CAUTION!
The use of a suction pipe with an empty signal provision and dirt trap from our
accessory programme is highly recommended to protect the metering system.
The empty signal system causes the pump to cut off if the medium in the
container drops below a certain level.
The pump is available in a number of variants:
n
The design including complete software control via an operator panel is known as
‘EcoAdd’
.
n
By upgrading it with an additional Bluetooth PCB, it can be controlled and evaluated
using the smartphone app
‘Ecolab EcoAPP’
.
