If the metering pump detects an empty container via a connected suction pipe with
integrated empty signal detection, this is displayed in red via the empty signal
symbol .
If the container size has been set as described in
7.9.13 ‘Container size’ on page 108, for pumps WITHOUT a Bluetooth
PCB a canister is displayed as the empty signal symbol instead of the
empty signal symbol.

The pump adjusts the operation.

Performing a container change:
- Remove the suction pipe from the empty container.
- Replace the empty container with a full container.
- Place the suction pipe back into the full container.
DANGER!
It is essential that the personal protective equipment (PPE) described on
the product data sheet (safety data sheet) for the metering medium is
used.
WARNING!
Risk of slipping due to fluid in the operation and provisioning area!
– Wear non-slip, chemically resistant shoes when working.
– Place product containers in a tank to prevent a slipping hazard caused
by leaking fluids.
ENVIRONMENT!
Immediately soak up any leaking liquids with a suitable binding agent and
dispose of properly.

The pump detects the new fill level via the connected suction pipe.

Following a detected container change, the pump automatically resumes operation
with the last settings.
