4. Installation
Be sure to take the following cautions and instructions into account when installing
the pump.
4.1 Movement and Fixation
4.1.1 Location
This pump is designed for indoor installation. To install the pump, select a
place with little exposure to dust and humidity and not subject to dew
condensation. Also allow for sufficient space to ensure easy pump
installation and disassembly for maintenance.
In case of installing interface box to the pump, the distance between pump
and interface box shall be 3m or less.
CAUTION
Install pump in a location at an ambient not exceeding 30
℃
.
Particular caution is required when the pump is operated in an enclosed room.
CAUTION
A gap of at least 50mm should be left open for ventilation between the pump cover
and the adjacent equipment.
4.1.2 Caster and adjustment foot
Four integral mobile support units consisting of a caster and a
height-adjustment foot each are provided underneath the pump base.
To move the pump, raise the four adjustment feet by turning the holding nuts
in the counterclockwise direction.
