Upload EDS File
You can download an EDS file from
www.eaton.com/pxg
.
1.
Make sure that you save the EDS file to a known location on your
computer.
NOTICE: EDS files have the file naming convention
EDS_<name>.XML. File names are case sensitive.
NOTICE: It is important to note that if you desire to add Control
functionality to those supported INCOM devices configured on
your PXG600E which allows the user to send control commands
to the device via the PXGUI or 3rd party client software, you need
to reconfigure the device on the PXG600E by reinstalling the
device utilizing the CONTROL EDS that you have obtained from
Eaton Corp. It is recommended that you save off your original
configuration before making this adjustment, because this will
cause all historical data and any link established to Power Xpert
Software be lost. The PXG600E does not have the control
command version of the EDS installed as standard. Reconfigure
the device using the instructions in the device manual and
reconnect the device to the PXG600E using the CONTROL EDS,
and reconnect all your links to Power Xpert Software.
2.
Click on the UPLOAD EDS FILE link
(Figure 184, A)
