Enter the
Priority
(Figure 140, A)

You can assign a level of priority for each parameter. There are five
levels:
•
Critical
•
Major
•
Normal
•
Minor
•
Cautionary
•
Event Only
Critical, major, normal, minor or cautionary priorities are considered
alarm conditions. That means when the trigger conditions you have
selected for the parameter are met you must take an action to clear the
cause of the alarm. After you have cleared the cause of the alarm the
report for the condition for the parameter will change from “Condition
Present” to “Condition Cleared.”
If the priority is set as “Event Only” the condition of the parameter is
automatically reported as “Condition Cleared.” No user action is needed
to change the condition reported for the parameter.
NOTICE: You cannot close an event until it is reported as
“Condition Cleared.” See
