Disassembly

1. With special tool EEA-17134 with EEA-17103 (not

shown), remove the front bearing cone.

2. With special tool EEA-17134 with EEA-17103 (not

shown), remove the rear bearing cone.

3. Place the countershaft vertically in a press, with the

front end facing up. Supporting the countershaft by the

lower face of the drive gear (1), press the shaft down

and remove the drive gear.

CAUTION!

Hold the countershaft from

underneath the press so it does not fall.

4. Repeat the previous step for each of the following gears,

in this order:

- 6th speed gear (2)

- 4th speed gear (3), using special tool EEA-17132

- 3rd speed gear (4), using special tool EEA-17133
