CAUTION
●
Be sure to turn off the main power (circuit breaker) before performing replacement work.
●
The analyzer integrates a high-voltage power supply for turning on the mercury lamp
(steady state: approximately 200 V AC, at the time of power ON: the voltage
instantaneously increases to approximately 1000 V AC). Internal adjustment/repair should
therefore be performed by specialized or educated/trained workers only. Otherwise electric
shock may result.
●
UV ray from the low-pressure mercury lamp may adversely affect your eyes/skin. Be sure
to wear protective glasses, etc. when performing the replacement work.
●
A low-pressure mercury lamp is not for lighting. Do not use it except the measurement of ozone
monitor.

How to adjust the sensor
[1] Set the main power and the power switch to ON to
perform warm-up operation for 20 to 30 minutes.
[2] Feed source gas or zero gas to the pipes of the analyzer.
[3] Check the lamp light intensity.
* If the S1 and S2 values of the lamp light intensity do
not fall within the 3500 to 3800 range, or the difference
between S1 value and S2 value is 200 or larger, adjust
the light intensity in order that it falls within the 3500
to 3800 range using the variable resistor VR1 (for S1
adjustment position) and variable resistor VR2 (for S2
adjustment position) on CNT PCB (the control board).
See “5.2.3 Check mode, (1) Sensor output check” for
details.
[4] After the adjustment is completed, switch the indicator to
the measurement mode, and perform zero point calibration.
See “5.4 Zero calibration” for details.
[5] If the indicator is operating properly, measurement can
be made.
[6] Close the door and perform concentration measurement.

How to replace the fuses
[1] Be sure to check that the main power (circuit breaker) and
the power switch of the analyzer are set to OFF.
[2] Remove the screw fastening the fuse cover, and remove
the fuse cover.
[3] Remove the two fuses from the fuse holder.
[4] Insert two new fuses into the fuse holder.
[5] Attach the fuse cover, and fasten it with the screw.
[6] Set the main power and the power switch of the analyzer to
ON. Close the door, and perform concentration measurement.
