External Ozone destruct
This component is optional.
[1] Provide an external Ozone destruct, and install it in a safe place.
* Be sure to install the Ozone destruct vertically with the lid up.
[2] Connect the pipes to the coupling of the sample exhaust and to the coupling on the inlet side
(bottom side) of the Ozone destruct. Also check them for leakage.
* Connect a pipe to the coupling on the outlet side (top side) of the Ozone destruct as
necessary to allow outdoor treatment to be performed.
6.5.3
Removing the pipes
(1) Feed zero gas for a specified period of time to make sure that ozone gas is not remaining in the
pipe.
(2) Loosen the nut of the coupling for the pipe to be removed, and remove the pipe.
(3) Cap the removed pipe and the coupling to prevent dust from entering.
CAUTION
●
High-concentration ozone gas is discharged from the ozone gas exhaust. Be sure to install
an Ozone destruct.
●
Just in case the Ozone destruct of the Off-gas Ozone Analyzer is broken, provide an
external Ozone destruct to the sample exhaust outlet.
●
Maintain the exhaust port of the Ozone destruct at the atmospheric pressure.
●
The temperature of the surface of the Ozone scrubber / Ozone destruct (optional Ozone
destruct) may increase. Be careful not to touch the surface.
7. Measurement
procedure
The following work should be performed by educated/trained workers.
7.1
Preparation for measurement
(1) Turning on the power
Set the main power (circuit breaker) and the power switch of the analyzer to ON to supply
power.
(2) Warm-up operation
After the power is turned on, warm-up operation is started automatically. The normal warm-up
operation time setting is 10 minutes.
The warm-up operation time can be selected within the range from 0 to 99 minutes by following
the procedure described in “Warm-up operation time setting” in the setting mode.
See “5.2.2 Setting mode, (28) Warm-up operation time setting” for details.
