Connection Phases
It is possible for the template file to contain additional connection phases. These may
accommodate standard post-assembly operations common to all wire harnesses that are assembled
and tested using the same fixture board – such as adding shorting bars, or detecting the presence of
secondary locks or retainer clips. The following rules apply to Autolearned programs using a
template that contains additional Connection phases:

Additonal connections phases are imported from the template in the same order in which
they appear in the Phase Properties Pane.
•
Any connections defined in the Main phase of the template file will not be imported.
Instead, the Main phase of the Autolearned program will be populated with the learned
connections.
•
If no Main phase exists in the template file, a Main phase will be created in the
Autolearned file. Any additional phases defined in the template file will appear after the
Main phase.
