Order
Complete the following steps before setting the thread cutter:
• Tilt the machine head (

p. 17 )
• Remove the oil pan (

p. 23 )
13.1 Setting the control cam position

Proper setting
The control cam (2) makes contact with the hook pinion (1).
The first screw (3) in the hook's direction of rotation must be located on the
flat of the shaft. This defines the timing of the knife movement.
WARNING
Risk of injury from sharp and moving parts!
Cutting and crushing possible.
Switch off the machine before setting the thread
cutter.
