Remote control with thermostat
Setting display and time
• After you insert the battery, or if you press AUTO and
TIMER at the same time, the display will flash. You are in
SET mode.
• Press AUTO to switch from °F and 12-hour time to °C
and 24-hour time or vice versa.
• Press “ ” to set the hours and “ ” to set the minutes.
• Wait or press TIMER to return to manual mode.
Programming the desired temperature
• Press AUTO until the display flashes.
• Press “ ” or “ ” to set the desired temperature.
• Wait or press AUTO to switch to automatic mode.
A sensor in the transmitter measures the room tem-
perature. If required, it will send a signal to the receiver to
direct knob B on the gas block and raise or lower the
flames.
Programming the timer
• Press TIMER until P1 flashes (period 1, heating cycle
on).
• Set the start time of the first heating period by pressing ‘
” to set the hours and “ ” to set the minutes.
• Press TIMER , P1 appears (period 1, heating cycle
off).
• Set the end time of the first heating period.
• Press TIMER again to set the second heating period
( P2 on and P2 off).
• Confirm by pressing TIMER once again.
• If only 1 heating period is desired, specify the same
time for
P2 and P2 .
Manual mode (MAN on display) - flame height is
adjusted manually
• Knob “ ” : turn knob B to the left, flow increases,
flames grow larger.
• Knob “ ” : turn knob B to the right, flow decreases,
flames become smaller.
The “send” symbol appears in the top left corner of the dis-
play every time you press one of the buttons. The light on
the receiver starts flashing when knob B reaches the end
stop.
Automatic mode (AUTO on display) - flame height is
adjusted thermostatically
Briefly press AUTO . The set temperature appears briefly
on the display, followed by the room temperature.
Timer mode (TIMER on display)
During the specified heating periods ( P1 and P2 ), the
appliance works as it does in AUTO mode.
When the program switches to (heating cycle off), the
main burner goes out and only the pilot flame continues to
burn. There are no further temperature checks; this saves
the battery.
• Check the temperature set by pressing AUTO and then
TIMER .
• You can make manual adjustments by pressing the but-
tons
and .
• To save battery life, set the handset to MAN mode
before switching the stove off, and press until the end
stop of knob B has been reached. If the handset stays in
AUTO or TIMER mode, the handset will continue to use
the battery even if the appliance is off.
Replacing the battery
If BATT appears in the top right corner of the display, or if
the lamp on the receiver becomes dimmer, the respective
