When replacing the glass pane, check that the sealing
cord is in the right place and fits properly.
Remove the box with the wood block set and other
parts from the stove that were included separately in
the delivery.
Placing the stove
Preferably place the stove on a flat floor. The stove is
equipped with levelling screws in the floor plate so the
appliance can be levelled perfectly; see next figure.
Take the distance from combustible material into
account. See the appendix "Distance from com-
bustible material".
Determining the duct route
Make a drawing of the route you want the concentric
exhaust duct to follow.
Check whether the duct route you want is permitted
from a technical point of view based on the appendix
“Calculation sheet for checking projected route”. If this
is not the case, you must decide on an alternative
route that is within the limits permitted.
Decide on the type and number of the parts required.
Use the appendix “Overview of concentric flue gas
exhaust materials” for this.
Attaching a restriction plate
Depending on the route selected and the ratio between
vertical and horizontal length, a restriction plate must be
attached to the stove at the right place and in the right
position. The restriction plate is included separately in the
delivery of the appliance.
Positioning the restriction plate serves to adjust
the draft in the stove to the duct route selected.
The restriction plate can be placed in three positions,
marked with 1, 2 and 3; see next figure. If you decided
on a permitted duct route, the correct position for the
restriction plate follows from the appendix “Calculation
sheet for checking projected route”.

Fasten the restriction plate with a screw to the front at
the top of the combustion chamber, behind the baffle
plate of the stove, in the correct position.
Preparing the connection to the
flue
When connecting the stove to the flue, you can choose to
connect to the
top or to the back of the stove.
Connecting to the top
The stove is ready to be connected at the top upon deliv-
ery.
If a pipe system other than that from manufacturer
Muelink & Grol is used, always use the cor-
responding collars and/or adapters supplied by
this other manufacturer.
Connecting to the back
1. Screw the connection collars (1) and (2) loose from
the top of the stove; see next figure.
