4.3 Provisioning
Steps Table 4-2 describes the steps required for voice quality provisioning.
Note The parameters that appear and are available for provisioning are dependent upon
the feature package installed and activated on the Packet Voice Processor (see
Section 10.13 on page 177 ).
VQA PROFILE <profile-name> CLONE Command that clones a specified VQA profile.
The required minimum access level is WRITE for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1.7 on page 279 .

Step Task Description
1 Access the Packet Voice Processor
system. Establish a connection to the active Switch Control
card.
The process for connecting to the management port
is described in
Section 2.2, “Connecting to the PVP”,
on page 23 .
2 Enter the VQA PROFILE [SHOW]
command. Enter this command to view any current VQA
profiles.
See Section 14.1.2 on page 266 for additional
command information.
3 Enter the VQA PROFILE ADD command. Enter this command to add a VQA profile.
See Section 14.1.3 on page 267 for additional
command information.
4 Enter the VQA PROFILE <profile-name>
[SHOW] command. Review the provisioning.
See Section 14.1.4 on page 277 for additional
command information.
