1.4.1.2.1 EVRC0 With AEC
Feature package 8 supports all the supported feature package 5 features, but
transcoding is limited to G.711 u Law or A Law and EVRC0. The only supported
Voice Quality Assurance feature supported is Acoustic Echo Control (AEC). EVRC0
conforms to RFC 4788 Enhancements to RTP Payload Formats for EVRC Family
CODECs and RFC 3558 RTP Payload Format for EVRC and SMV CODECs.
EVRCB0 CODEC and associated options are not supported in this release.

1.4.1.2.2 EVRC0 Modes
When performing transcoding, the EVRC0 supports three modes; full rate, 1/2 rate
and 1/8 rate to conserve bandwidth while delivering superior voice quality of
traditional CODECs. The EVRC0CODEC supports a 20 mS frame time. P-Times
from 20 mS to 200 mS are supported in increments of 20 mS. The PVP supports
“header Free and Bundled modes of operation”. The three mode are;
