Chapter 4: Voice Quality
Provisioning
4.1 Overview This chapter describes the procedures and commands used for voice quality
provisioning within the Packet Voice Processor
TM
system.
4.2 Provisioning
Commands Voice quality enhancement is applied to an IP media stream through the use of VQA
profiles that the user creates. Table 4-1 displays the commands used for creating
and displaying VQA profiles.
Note VQA profiles are actually applied to an IP media stream through the SIGNALING
POLICY ADD command. For additional information, refer to Section 13.7.3 on
page 232 .
Table 4-1 Voice Quality Provisioning Commands
Command Description
VQA [SHOW] Command that displays current voice quality provisioning
information.
The required minimum access level is READ for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1 on page 265 .
VQA PROFILE [SHOW] Command that displays a list of VQA profiles.
The required minimum access level is WRITE for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1.2 on page 266 .
VQA PROFILE ADD Command that adds a VQA profile.
The required minimum access level is WRITE for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1.3 on page 267 .
VQA PROFILE <profile-name> [SHOW] Command that displays a specified VQA profile.
The required minimum access level is READ for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1.4 on page 277 .
VQA PROFILE <profile-name> SET Command that modifies a specified VQA profile.
The required minimum access level is WRITE for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1.5 on page 278 .
VQA PROFILE <profile-name> DEL Command that deletes a specified VQA profile.
The required minimum access level is WRITE for this
command. For additional command information, see
Section 14.1.6 on page 279 .
