Packet Voice Processor Commands Manual
The
INTERFACE
commands for the Packet Voice Processor Gigabit Ethernet media
ports is as follows:
INTERFACE <media-port> [SHOW] - Display media port information
INTERFACE <media-port> SET - Set media port configuration
INTERFACE <media-port> SET <admin-state> - Set media port administrative state
INTERFACE <media-port> STATS [SHOW] - Show media port statistics
INTERFACE <media-port> STATS CLR - Clear media port statistics
INTERFACE <media-port> QOS-REPORT [HIST <bin>] [SHOW]- Generate EXi report for
media interface
10.2.1 INTERFACE [SHOW] Command
The
INTERFACE [SHOW]
command lists all physical and logical external interfaces
with their current status. The required minimum access level is Read for this
command. The command syntax is as follows:
INTERFACE [SHOW]
below displays an example of this command and output. The physical
interfaces and status are displayed in the command output. There are 3 interface
types (ports) in a Packet Voice Processor system:
GigE - Gigabit Ethernet (located on the Interface Processing cards)
MGMT - Management (located on the active Switch Control card)
SIG - Signaling (located on the active Switch Control card)
Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) port references can be read as follows:
GigE/<card-slot-number>/<port-number-on-card>
In
, GigE/6/1 describes the Gigabit Ethernet port on the Interface
Processing card located in Packet Voice Processor shelf slot 6. The port number is
1 (top most port on a card). GigE/9/2 describes the Gigabit Ethernet port on the
Interface Processing card located in Packet Voice Processor shelf slot 9. The port
number is 2 (second port on a card from the top).
