9.3 DATE
Command
The
DATE
command displays or sets the date. To set the date, enter a 2 digit month,
2 digit day, and 4 digit year date after the
DATE
command. The minimum access
level for this command is Read. The command syntax is as follows:
DATE [SHOW] - Display the current date
DATE SET <dd-MMM-yyyy> - Set the current date

9.4 TIME
Command
The
TIME
command displays or sets the time for the Packet Voice Processor. To set
the time, enter the time using the 24-hour clock format, where the morning hours
(12:00 A.M. to 11:59 A.M.) are from 00:00 to 11:59, and the afternoon, evening/night
hours (12:00 P.M. to 11:59 P.M.) are from 12:00 to 23:59. The minimum access level
for this command is Read. The command syntax is as follows:
TIME [SHOW] - Display the current time
TIME SET <hh:mm:ss> - Set the current time

Note
The Packet Voice Processor’s setting for time can be provisioned by using either the
TIME
command or through a NTP server using the
NTP
command (see
). When using the
TIME
command to provision the Packet
Voice Processor’s setting for time, the
TIMEZONE
) can be used to provision a local time offset from UTC (Coordinated
Universal Time).
