Lens Adapters
The introduction of higher resolution SXGA projectors has resulted in a require-
ment for larger projection lenses which have a larger mounting thread diameter and
will not fit earlier projectors. Earlier lenses will also not fit in the new Intelligent
Lens Mount (ILM) that is fitted to
LIGHTNING display projectors.
LIGHTNING sx and gv projectors are capable of a wide range of lens options by
using the optional thread and sleeve adapters shown below.

The sleeve adapter fits around the rear body of an XGA lens and is fastened in place
by 2 grub screws. It provides a larger diameter body for insertion into a
LIGHT-
NING display projector.
Not all earlier lenses can handle the larger object size of the SXGA DMD. Please
refer to Technical Bulletin 1.00.014 before using GV lenses.
