DECbridge 500/600 Problem Solving

3.3.5.1

Removing the Fan Assembly

To remove the fan assembly, refer to Figure 3–6 and follow these steps:

1. Remove the card cage from the bridge enclosure (Section 3.3.3.1).

2. Unplug the two fan assembly connectors, P1 and P2, from the power supply

module.

3. Using a #2 Phillips-head screwdriver, unscrew the two captive screws on

each side of the fan assembly.

4. Lift the fan assembly out of the card cage.
