Thermocouple probe tolerance:
The tolerance of a thermocouple type corresponds to the maximum deviation admitted by the
e.m.f. for any thermocouple of that type, with the reference junction at 0 °C. Tolerance is ex-
pressed in Celsius degrees, preceded by the sign. Tolerance refers to the operating tempera-
ture the thermocouple is provided for, depending on the diameter of the thermoelements.
