Before coming into contact with the connections, 
ensure the power is off. Check for any voltages at the 
connecting terminals when the attached sensors have 
varying degrees of electrical potential or when they 
have high electrical potentials with earthing, for 
example, when measuring electrical current for a 
mains voltage phase.

Differences in electrical potential between two chan-
nels of a module can not be determined from the meas-
urement data.
