Choose the file system or protocol for addressing the network drive.
NFS
(Network File System) enables file access via a network. Choosing
this means that the files are not transmitted via for example FTP, but
instead you can locate and access files saved on another PC, as if they
were located on the local drive.
CIFS
(Common Internet File System) is based on NetBIOS over TCP/IP and
SMB and offers other services such as Windows RPC and NT Domain in
addition to the file functions.
FTP
(File Transfer Protocol) is a widely used network protocol used to trans-
fer files and manage directories (create, delete, etc.).
SFTP
(Secure File Transfer Protocol) allows a more variable encryption of
data transfer than FTP.
