Connect the Controllers with SAS
If
the
Storage
Center
has
only
a
single
SAS
chain,
interconnect
the
controllers
with
additional
SAS
connections
to
provide
redundancy
and
to
make
sure
that
sufficient
IPC
bandwidth
is
available.
If
two
or
more
enclosure
chains
exist,
IPC
Direct
Connect
is
optional.
If
the
Storage
Center
requires
SAS
IPC,
add
cabling
between
the
initiator
and
target
ports
on
the
controllers.
