components

(Aestiva machine)

Regulator (A)

Also inspect the two o-rings that seal it to the manifold. Replace as necessary.

PEEP Valve (B)

Ensure the valve you are installing in this location is marked with two blue dots.

PEEP Safety Valve (C)

Ensure the valve you are installing in this location is marked with a white dot.

Supply Pressure Switch (D)

Also inspect the o-ring that seal it to the manifold. Replace as necessary.

Transfer harness wire to top and middle tabs; bottom tab open.

Inspiratory Flow Valve (E)

Note orientation of the flow valve. Also inspect the two o-rings that seal it to the 
manifold. Replace as necessary.

Inlet Filter (F)

Refer to Section 7.3.2, 

“Supply gas inlet filter.”

Note

The wire harnesses are tie-wrapped at this point to help keep the wires from 
interfering with the MOPV weight. If you cut the tie wrap when replacing the 
Inspiratory Valve or the PEEP Valve harness, be sure to tie-wrap the harnesses 
at the same point to ensure proper operation of the MOPV.
