Chroma Keying
Once you have set up your chroma key channels leave the set up menus, by pressing the ESC key, so that
the Status Display is shown on the LCD Display.
Press the CK Key, so that it becomes active. You will see on the Sub-Source Rail, CK is active in red, as is
one of the channels; in this example 2.
On the Sub Source Rail press the channel number that you want to use for keying
On the Sub Source Rail press the channel number that you want to use as the source for keying. In this
example we want to use Channel 1.
If everything is set up correctly, the key should appear in the PST window.
You will see the foreground and the background sources of the Chroma Key are highlighted in yellow,
because they are both cued.
If the Chroma Key is as you want it, then you can send if live by pressing the Take Key, or using the T-Bar.
N.B. You are restricted to cutting or dissolving while Chroma Key is active, no other transitions are
available.
