Parameter 16-62 can be used to display the analogue voltage signal on AI 53. Turn “POT #1”
(AI53) from left to right and verify that the voltage on the terminal varies from 0 to 10 volts.
The final step is to program a relay for alarm indication. Go to parameter 5-40 and change
relay # 1 to the function “Running/No Warning”. You will get a green LED to light up on the
switch box when the relay condition is true.
Verifying Operation
Press the “Auto On” button at the bottom of the keypad.
With all switches off, the display status word reads “auto remote coast”
With switch S3 (wired to DI 27) is closed, the display reads “auto remote standby”
Closing the switch S1 (wired to DI 18) starts the drive, & opening it stops the drive
The drive runs at 20 Hz with the potentiometer turned all the way to the left
The reason that the drive does not go to 0 Hz is because of the setting of parameter 4-12
The drive runs at 60 Hz with the potentiometer turned all the way to the right
The red LED on the switch box is lit up when the drive is running
If everything works correctly, you can go to parameter 0-50 to upload your parameters to the
LCP. Go to Parameter 0-50 and select “All to LCP” Can you verify that the upload worked?
