Note that any of these parameters can be accessed through the drives “Main Menu” as well.
The Last step in the quick setup is to run the “AMA” function (P 1-29). AMA is a special
software function that will send out different voltages and frequencies to the connected motor
in order to gather advanced motor data. Set this parameter to the value “Enable Complete
AMA”.
Press the “
Hand On
” button. You will notice that the drive still won’t run because it is being
commanded to “coast” via digital input 27. This is shown on the status line at the bottom of
the LCP.
Inverse
means that the function “coast” will be executed when voltage is
removed
from the input rather that applied.
Close switch S3 on the control box, which will apply +24VDC to DI 27. When the switch is
closed, the coast command will go away and the drive will start the A.M.A. tuning sequence.
After the AMA is complete, press the “OK” key and move on to the next step.
