Charging procedure b
Charging procedure b is used in application 3, 4, 11 and
14. The hot-water circuit has indirect storage tank con-
trol, and the tank is equipped with an internal heat ex-
changer. The following settings are available:

Charging starts when the upper tank
temperature falls below the setpoint mi-
nus ½ the cut-in difference. Charging
ends when the lower tank temperature
reaches the setpoint plus ½ the cut-in
difference or when the maximum charg-
ing time has expired (see page 56).
The diagram in Figure 6 illustrates the charging procedure and the settings. In this
example, only one sensor is installed in the hot-water tank.
