Using CamExpert with Nano CXP Cameras
The Sapera CamExpert tool allows a user to test the camera and frame grabber combination and
their functions. Additionally CamExpert saves the Teledyne DALSA frame grabber user settings as
individual camera parameter files on the host system (*.ccf). The camera settings are saved within
the camera as a user set.
An important component of CamExpert is its live acquisition display window which allows
immediate verification of timing or control parameters without the need to run a separate
acquisition program.
CamExpert Panes
The various areas of CamExpert are summarized in the figure below.
• Device pane: View and select from any installed Sapera acquisition device if more than one is
installed in the computer. After a device is selected CamExpert will only present parameters
applicable to that device.
