Always maintain the amount of grease
in the automatic lubrication device over
the
“
MIN
”
line, which indicates the
minimum required amount. Fill the tank
up to the
“
MAX
”
line, which indicates
the maximum capacity using the
grease supplementing device.
Make sure to evacuate air after filling
the device with grease. With the
battery main switch in the
“
ON
”
position, open the plug at the end of
the separator, press the
“
TEST
”
switch on the automatic lubrication
device controller, wait until grease
flows over, connect the plug at the end,
and press the
“
TEST
”
switch again.

Refilliong Grease in & Evacuating Air from the Automatic Lubrication Device
CAUTION
· If there is no grease in the grease
storage tank of the automatic
lubrication device, pressure cannot
be generated upon activation of the
pump, and as a result, it may cause a
break down. Therefore, occasionally
check the tank for sufficient amount
of grease, and refill it if there is
insufficient amount remaining.
· Make sure that no other substance
flows into the tank while refilling,
and also that the grease is being
properly to the lubrication points.
REFERENCE
· The automatic Greaser warning
lamp turns on even when the
storage tank does not have sufficient
amount of grease.
· Check the storage tank and receive
inspection from a close maintenance
plant if the warning lamp repeatedly
turns on during operation of the
vehicle.
