ASR (Anti Slip Regulation)
The ASR operates in addition of the
ABS. If is very useful during the start of
the vehicle on an icy surface or when
accelerating suddenly. If the ASR
warning lamp turns on during operation
of the vehicle, it indicates that the
driving wheels are slipping during the
start of the vehicle.
Exhaust brake will be activated when
you pull the lever.
If you release the accelerator when the
lever is pulled, the magnetic valve will
be activated and the pressurized air
will be applied to the air room. The
valve will then be closed and create
pressure.
Also, if you accelerate, the magnetic
valve will release the inner air and will
open the valve releasing the pressure.

CAUTION
·
ABS is a device that enhances
safety and is not equipped to assist
high speed or dangerous driving
habits.
·
ABS warning indication will be
turned off after 3 secs while the
battery switch and the key is ON.
If it does not turn off, it means that
ABS is malfunctioning, and you
must get it serviced.
·
The brake will function normally like
a vehicle wihtout an ABS system
even if there is a problem with the
ABS.
CAUTION
·
If ABS is operating, you will feel
vibration at the brake pedal and will
hear air exhaustion.
·
Generally speaking, ABS equipped
vehicles have shorter braking
distance but it depends largely on
the road surface. Always maintain
safe distance from the vehicle
ahead.
·
When washing the vehicle, if the
water enters ABS system, it could
damage the system and could be a
cause for malfunctioning.
·
Sudden brake will require large
amount air and could result in air
pressure warning. In this case, park
the car on a safe location and wait
until the pressure is recovered.
