The
port storm-control broadcast rate
Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command configures the
maximum broadcast rate. To return to the default configuration, use the
no
form of this command.
Syntax
port storm-control broadcast rate rate
no port storm-control broadcast rate
Parameters
•
rate
— Maximum kilobits per second of broadcast and multicast traffic on a port. (Range: 3500 - 1000000)
Default Configuration
The default storm control broadcast rate is 12,000 Kbits/Sec.

User Guidelines
Use the
port storm-control broadcast enable
Interface Configuration mode command to enable broadcast
storm control.
Example
The following example configures the maximum broadcast rate to 5000.
