Performing Basic Network Configuration

AlterPath KVM/net Installation, Administration, and User’s Guide

Review the values of all the network configuration parameters, as shown
in the following screen example. The values shown are for example only.

Enter

if the values shown are correct, or press Enter.

The following prompt appears when “y” is entered.

Enter

to save the changes.

To confirm the configuration, enter the

ifconfig

command.

The new network parameters display.

Log out from the terminal session.

In a HyperTerminal application on a Windows PC, go to “File > Exit”.

If performing a first-time installation, go to “Completing Configuration
Using the Web Manager” on page 98.
