Homecare Mode
Set the monitoring system to Homecare Mode when a lay person will be using the
monitoring system outside of a hospital or other professional care setting. Home-
care Mode provides limited functionality to simplify operation.

Note:
A four-digit password is required to switch to Homecare Mode.
To set the monitoring system to Homecare Mode:
1.
Before switching to Homecare Mode, ensure that the alarm limits and patient type
(adult, pediatric, neonate) are appropriate for the home patient.
2.
Access the OPTIONS Menu.
3.
Select Change Patient Mode , then select Switch to Homecare Mode .

Enter the password for Homecare Mode.

5.
Choose whether to keep or delete all trend data.

Note:
It is recommended to delete all trend data when configuring the monitoring system for
a different patient.
