CABLE BREAK
NEGATIVE
A cable break on the
negative conductor has
been detected. Locate the cable break and mend it.
Two units have the
same address. Check the loop unit addresses
Loop unit faulty. Exchange the unit.

ERROR
The communication with a
unit is deficient.
Interference Locate interference and deal with it.

WRONG TYPE OF UNIT
The type of unit found
is different from the
type configured.
Check the specification and change definition or
the unit.
Unit faulty Exchange the unit

UNIT
The type of unit specified
is unknown to the system.
Wrong type of detector
has been installed Install the correct type and restart the loop.

TIMER STUCK
The timer has been
activated too long. Check the unit.

Two units sharing the
same address Change one of the addresses.

CABLE SHORT
CIRCUIT
Short circuit on cable. Locate the short circuit and fix it.

The valve is closed. Open the valve

PRESENT
Unit is configured but
not present. Add the unit or change the system configuration.

Unit is present but not
configured. Remove the unit or change the system

LOOP
There is high current in
the loop cable. Check if there is to many units connected to the
loop. Compare with the loop limitations.

The loop voltage is
missing. Exchange the loop board.

POSITIVE
Too low impedance on
positive conductor. Locate the earth fault and fix it.

Too low impedance on
negative conductor. Locate the earth fault and fix it.

A fuse is defective. Replace the fuse.

BATTERY FUSE FAULT
A battery fuse has
blown or a cable break. Replace fuse or mend the cable.

Too high current on an
output. Check external loads.

The main power supply
is lost. Check the main power supply.

detected. Charge the battery. If the fault remains then
replace the battery.

Unable to detect earth
fault. Replace the earth fault circuit.
